Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is responsible for overseeing the activities of the company. Besides that the Board is responsible for determining the company’s mission and objective, providing adequate resources, managing resources efficiently and monitoring the company’s programs and services. The Board has 5 members who meet once every 3 months or more frequently when occasion demands.

Datin Nona Binti Salleh, is the Executive Chairperson of Phillip Capital Management Sdn Bhd, Chairperson of Phillip Mutual Berhad, a director of Phillip Futures Sdn Bhd, Phillip Wealth Planner Sdn Bhd, as well as other Malaysian companies under the PhillipCapital Group. She started her investment career in Aseambankers in 1992 where she gained exposure in the management of Shariah and semi-Shariah  portfolios. Over the past 25 years, she has accumulated experience through her involvement in the investment management and strategy of her clients’ investment portfolios, including the Employees Provident Fund (EPF), LembagaTabung Haji, Koperasi Jaya Diri, Double Growth Fund and Emerging Growth Fund (BHLB Unit Trusts) as well as Maybank Dana Yakin.

Prior to re-joining the Phillip Group in 2001 to head its Malaysian operation, she has held several key positions in investment management and research, including the positions of Associate Investment Director of BHLB Asset Management, a subsidiary of Ban Hin Lee Bank (now merged under CIMB group) and Chief Investment Officer at Maybank Investment Management Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Malayan Banking Berhad. Datin Nona is a graduate of the London School of Economics, University of London and she holds the Investment Management Certificate (IIMR), UK.

En. Mohd Fadzli Bin Mohd Anas was previously the Chief Executive Officer of Phillip Mutual Bhd between 2 February 2005 and 31 December 2015. Prior to that, he was the Vice President, Investment of Phillip Capital Management Sdn Bhd where he was responsible for investment and marketing activities for the company. En. Mohd Fadzli has been with the PhillipCapital Group for the past 20 years and has been instrumental in charting the growth of its Malaysian business. He currently holds the position of Executive Director for Phillip Capital Management Sdn Bhd since 1 January 2016.

En. Mohd Fadzli has worked in various senior capacities in the financial industry for the past 22 years. He has also been actively involved in the business development activities of a listed telecommunications company, where he served as President of its Group Marketing Council which was responsible for advising the company’s Management Committee on marketing strategies. En. Mohd Fadzli graduated with a B.Sc. (Mathematics) from Clarkson University in New York, and holds an MBA (Finance) from the University of Leeds, United Kingdom. En. M0hd Fadzli holds a Capital Markets Services Representatives License (eCMSRL/B6360/2016).

PCM has appointed Mr Saw Leong Aun as Non-Executive Independent director of PCM effective 1 July 2020. Mr. Saw was previously the Group Managing Director of Rockwills International Group, one of the largest retail estate planning group in Malaysia and Singapore and has few more directorship in other companies within Rockwills Group of companies in Singapore and Malaysia. He holds an Honours degree in Social Science from the University of Malaya and is a member of STEP International (Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners) since 2013. He is the author of the books, ‘All you need to know about Wills’, ‘Guide to planning your Will effectively’ and ‘Warriors of Rockwills’. Prior to joining Rockwill Group, he was the Deputy General Manager of BHLB Pacific Trust Management and has played a key role in building the company into the second largest privately owned unit trust management company. He was a founding director of BHLB Trustee Berhad (now a CIMB trustee company). He has also worked with Prudential Assurance Berhad and his last position was Deputy Marketing Manager responsible for marketing development of products and agency force.

Major (R) Chai Chung Bin is currently the Chief Operating Officer of PhillipCapital Malaysia Group (other than Phillip Futures Sdn Bhd). He oversees the overall planning and execution of functions relating to Operations and Finance and has been with PhillipCapital Group since 2009 and has been instrumental in the operational process improvement, system improvement as well as development of the Group’s proprietary wealth management platform. Graduated from University Technology Malaysia with Bachelor (Hons) in Computer Engineering, Chung Bin also holds a Master in Business Administration (Technopreneurship), International Business School from the same University.

MBA (Marketing) from Derby University, UK

Alfred Loke is currently the Head of Strategic Business Development of PhillipCapital Malaysia. He has over 15 years’ experience in the financial industry mainly in the Unit Trust and Investment Management fields. His career began in Citibank Malaysia where he spent 7 years there before moving to Public Bank Berhad and RHB Bank Berhad. In 2007, he joined RHB Asset Management Sdn Bhd (formerly known as OSK-UOB Unit Trust Management Berhad) before advancing his career to PhillipCapital Malaysia in 2010. With his astute experience in the financial industry, he regularly gives talks on investment products along with conducting training. Awarded from the Derby University, UK, Alfred is a Master Degree holder in Marketing. He also holds a Capital Market Service Representative License (CMSRL) with Phillip Capital Management Sdn Bhd.
